The RailEye® Assistant Suite from EYYES was developed specifically for rail vehicles and detects critical situations around and inside the vehicle. Whether through the front collision warning system or the intelligent CCTV extension, the system actively informs or warns the driver with visual and acoustic signals. The system has a modular design and can be adapted to the respective vehicle and environmental conditions.

EYYES' AI-based, camera-only collision assistant supports tram and rail vehicle drivers in every driving situation – reliably, precisely, and in compliance with VDV 191.
The integrated, unique start-up assistance system also monitors the blind spot in front of the vehicle when starting and pulling out of stops. Even under difficult environmental conditions, the system analyzes the camera images in real time and detects people or other objects at an early stage – without the need for additional sensors.
Thanks to its fully camera-based architecture, the system can be easily and quickly retrofitted to existing vehicles. Powerful image processing enables precise detection and support that would otherwise only be achieved by complex multi-sensor systems.

Overview and situational awareness are key factors for safety in the railway sector. The RailEye® exterior mirror system is a highly reliable, video-based exterior mirror system for rail vehicles.
The system consists of robust exterior cameras, ergonomically integrated monitors in the driver's cab and an intelligent video link architecture for secure signal transmission, control and monitoring of all components.
It meets the functional safety requirements of SIL 1.

In complex traffic situations, especially in city traffic, blind spots can quickly become dangerous. Our AI-supported blind spot information system uses sophisticated camera sensors to continuously monitor the side of the vehicle. It detects both the right and, if necessary, the left side of the front of the vehicle.
If the system detects objects such as bicycles or other vehicles in the danger zone when turning, the driver is actively warned by visual and acoustic signals.
Optionally, the image display offers a direct control option so that the driver can visually check the situation at any time.
