RailEye® Intelligent CCTV (iCCTV)

In principle, any existing CCTV system can be expanded with the RailEye(r) iCCTV system. If the existing system is already equipped with digital cameras, the cameras’ video streams can be processed by the system and analyzed using the appropriate algorithms. The RailEye® iCCTV system is, so to speak, inserted between the existing system and the cameras. The output can be provided via an Ethernet interface or, in the simplest case, via a digital output. Most cameras already offer the ability to provide 2–4 video streams in parallel, which simplifies retrofitting.

Yes, in principle, that is also possible. However, in order to analyze the video data from the cameras, the analog signal must be converted to a digital signal. The analog-to-digital converter from EYYES can be used for this purpose.

The hardware is designed to process up to 12 different video streams simultaneously. In most projects, a single piece of hardware can process all the video streams from a railcar’s CCTV cameras.
